News and Notes – May 3, 2024

Hello Lake Avenue Families!

We had a lot of fun today with our “Jersey Day”! Apparently there are a lot of Toronto Maple Leafs, Hamilton Tiger Cats, and so many soccer fans at our school. My Jersey of choice was a soccer shirt from Everton in England and Mrs. Tyrrell wore the England World Cup jersey. Next Friday will be school spirit day so get ready with your green and gold.

Thank you to all the parents who have stopped me to say hi and introduce themselves. Please keep doing this as I really want to get to know all the families.
