News and Notes – January 30, 2026

Hello Families!

We hope you had a great week. We love seeing that the kids are enjoying the snow even in the cold weather. Please take the time to make sure your children are properly dressed for the weather. We have seen a lot of kids in running shoes this week and many, many without hats and mitts. When asked, students tell me that they have proper gear and home but “forgot” to wear them. We are expecting it to be not as cold next week so will most likely be out for recess. It will be cold so they will need to dress warm! In addition, please review that students that our big snow mound is off limits and they should not throw snowballs at each other as this leads to fights and injuries. We love outdoor play but want to keep it safe.
