News and Notes – December 4 2025
Hello Families,
Just a couple of weeks to go before our winter break. Students will be off for 2 weeks, returning to school on January 5, 2026. We look forward to enjoying the next two weeks together with special celebrations in our classrooms.
We will have a free winter gear give away from December 12-18, more details to come next week.
EQAO news – On January 20, 2026 families are invited to join a free live webinar about how EQAO assesses students’ reading skills at key stages of their education. Staff will highlight valuable insights and resources that can help parents, guardians and caregivers support their child’s learning.
Parents/guardians are also invited to attend a free live webinar on December 8, 2026, January 28, 2026 or January 29, 2026 about math questions that Ontario students encounter when they participate in EQAO. EQAO staff will also share insights from research into assessment results, which can help parents/guardians support their children’s math learning.
