News and Notes – October 18, 2024

Hello families,
We had a shorter but busy week! I a so proud of the engagement and commitment to learning that I see as I visit classrooms and talk with staff and students. It’s hard to believe that we are already heading into week eight of the school year. There is a really good energy at Lake Ave. and although issues still pop up from time to time, I appreciate how well be work together (staff, students, and community) at all levels to solve problems, act on solutions, and reflect on lessons learned. Thank you for keeping up to date on the things happening here and getting involved in your child’s learning.
