Community Update Dec. 18

Dear Gatestone Families,

Gatestone staff would like to wish our students and families a safe and wonderful winter break.

As we prepare for a winter break, we must not lose sight of the public health measures before us. Hamilton Public Health Services has prepared the following reminders to Protect Yourself and Others and to keep our communities safe from COVID-19. We missed having our families visit our school to join in our winter celebrations this year.  On Wednesday, students engaged in a virtual holiday assembly to learn more about different traditions and celebrations throughout the year and to present some of their own winter celebrations for the school.  In order to share the virtual video assembly with families, media consent is required for all students participating.  We are able to share some of our class presentations in a video for families at this time.  The link to the video is private and can only be accessed through your e-mail in SchoolMessenger.  The video is posted in a private setting (only those with the link can view) and will be posted until late Sunday evening (December 20th).

Happy New Year!  We are looking forward to returning to learning January 4th, 2021.  See everyone soon!
