Grants are determined by the Allocation Committee, an extension of the Foundation’s Board of Directors, and in consultation with HWDSB’s Executive Council.

“We’re grateful to the Hamilton Foundation for Student Success for providing schools with the opportunity to apply for funding that contributes to achievement and well-being outcomes,” said Manny Figueiredo, Director of Education for HWDSB. “Whether these funds are for books, instruments, or additional resources that support learning and culture-building, our schools are finding innovative ways to level the playing field.”

The Hamilton Foundation for Student Success works to ensure all students have equal opportunities to learn, grow and succeed to reach their full potential. The School Support Grant program is one of many offerings provided by the generosity of donors. The Foundation also provides Student Support Grants to respond to emergency or extraordinary needs of HWDSB students.
