October 7th News

Hello Eastdale Families,

This is to update our families with the changes that have happened through our latest reorganization.
We appreciate your patience as we moved students that impacted 18 classrooms. We opened three
new classrooms and hired staff to fill these positions. We still have teachers to hire for the grade 6/7
class and the 0.6 Core French Prep position.

Currently we have added to our Eastdale staff:
1) Ms. V. Serkus – Kindergarten
2) Mrs. K. Toth – Grade 5
3) Mrs. Mazarese – Core French/Prep (on maternity leave) Occasional Teacher to be hired
4) Mme Situ – Grade 2 FI for Mme Gadsdon, who is on leave
5) Mrs. Qaiser – DECE with Mrs. Batista
6) Grade 6/7 – To be filled

We look forward to seeing everyone during our Meet the Staff evening on Wednesday October 19th
from 5-6:30 PM. There will also be a Book Fair in the gym.

Other dates to keep in your calendar are:
Tuesday October 18th – Picture Day
Monday October 24th -PA day
