Monday Morning Playground Reminder

Starting Monday we will be continuing to follow the current playground practice by asking parents to direct their children onto the playground where staff will be on duty at 8:35 a.m. If you would like to watch your children play, there is a designated area at the back of the playground that will be outlined with pylons.

Thank you for your co-operation.

Dismissal

Reminder for JK/SK parents that their children will be excused at 3:05 p.m. JK/SK parents will be invited onto the playground by a teacher at that time.

Parents please allow JK/SK parents to be closer to the pylons so they can have direct eye contact with the teacher as their child is dismissed.

Also, for safety reasons parents please do not tie your dog to the fences around the school.

Parent Volunteers

The EK library is looking for parent volunteers to help sign in and shelve books. If you are available once a week for 30 minutes in the afternoon and interested in helping out please email Heather MacNamara at [email protected].

Please note that you will need a police check before volunteering at the school; forms can be found in the office.

Absences/Lates

If your child is going to be absent or late, please inform the office staff (905) – 528.0223.
