Earl Kitchener School Travel Planning – Family Travel Plan
Our school is taking part in School Travel Planning (STP), an initiative of Hamilton Active & Safe Routes to School. The objective of STP is to help improve your child’s travel to and from school. The results will help determine what changes need to be made to make it easier for children to walk and to bike to and from school.
The overall goals are to:
- Increase the number of physically active students
- Reduce traffic congestion around the school
- Improve air quality
- Create safer streets for pedestrians and cyclists
- Increase school and community engagement
Your participation in the Family Travel Survey is voluntary, you may choose not to answer any question and you can stop the questionnaire at any time. Please fill out the survey and send back only one survey for your eldest child.

Privacy: To protect your privacy, this survey does not require you to provide your name. Any mapping information will be used to identify obstacles along main routes. All information will be kept strictly confidential.
