Mad Science Forms Due Monday
Just a friendly reminder that Mad Science forms are due back today (Monday, January 18th). The program runs every Thursday from 3:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. from January 28th to March 24th. All registrations and payments will be picked up from the office tomorrow (on Tuesday).
Ukulele Forms Due
Likewise, Ukulele registrations forms are also due. If you would like to register your child, please ensure you drop off the forms to the office.
Absences
Just a friendly reminder…if you know your child will be away, please be sure to call the office to let us know. The office is very busy, and it is a Board policy to ensure each and every child arrives to school safely. As a result, we ask that you please keep us informed if your child will be absent due to illness, an appointment, vacation plans, etc. Our phone lines are open 24-hours a day, and you can leave a detailed voicemail message by calling (905) 528-0223. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Cancellation of School and Board Operations Due To Inclement Weather

The decision to cancel School and Board Administrative Operations is often a difficult call to make. Please be assured that the decision to remain open or to close is always made with the safety and security of our students and staff in mind. School Boards across Ontario have varying polices about the cancellation of schools. At HWDSB, the cancellation of transportation is linked to the cancellation of School and Board Administrative Operations. The cancellation of transportation immediately triggers the closure of our schools. For more information on the Cancellation of School and Board Administrative Operations, please refer to the Board website. And please remember, as a parent/guardian you always have the choice of whether or not to send your child to school.
