Halloween Parades

Kindergarten Halloween Parade

On Friday October 30^th the Kindergarten classes will be having their Halloween parade at 9:15 am.  Please have your child come to school with their costume on.  The students will come into the building, teachers will do attendance and the parade will start at 9:15 am.  Parents are invited to watch the parade and they can wait on the wood chip area on the back playground.  The classes will come outside and walk on the path around the back climbers and then come back into the school.

Please do not send toy weapons or a mask with your child.  This is a safety request, since they will need to see properly as they will be walking outside and through the school, up and down the stairs.

Grade 1 to 5 Halloween Parade

On Friday October 30^th the Grades 1 to Grade 5’s will be having their Halloween parade at 2:00 pm.  Please have your child bring their costume to school to change into after the second nutrition break at 1:30 pm.  The parade will start in the school and head down to the gym where some visitors from Aberdeen Gardens will be waiting.  The students will then walk across the playground to the Homewood Street side and continue the parade along the front of the school where they will then re-enter the school through the Stanley street doors.  Parents are asked to line the sidewalks along the front of the school, Dundurn Street, and on the Homewood and Stanley Street sidewalks up to the side doors.   Please do not wait by the Homewood Street playground gate as the children will need to come through this area.   We will not be going to Aberdeen Gardens this year and that is why they are coming to us.
