Farewell Assembly

Grade 5 Parents / Guardians are invited to join us for our Grade 5 Celebration Assembly on Tuesday, June 23^rd at 9:15 a.m. in the Earl Kitchener Gym. A reception will follow on the school front lawn (or library should the weather not cooperate). Grade 5 parents are asked to drop off treats (no nuts please) on their way to the gym for the reception. (Please Note: We ask that each Grade 5 student only brings four (4) guests as per fire regulations.)

Absences

I understand this is the last week of school and there is a lot going on, but just a friendly reminder to please keep the office informed if your child will be absent from school – whether it is due to illness, an appointment, vacation plans, etc.  Our phone lines are open 24-hours a day, and you can leave a detailed voicemail message by calling (905) 528-0223.  Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

 

 

Don’t Lose Your Stuff!

This year the lost and found bin has been overflowing each season. Tonnes of clothes were unclaimed and eventually donated to charity.  If your child’s items are labelled, we make every effort to return the articles to the family directly. A fundraising campaign with Mabel’s Labels for “Ecole Earl Kitchener School” has been setup. Stock up now for camp or for school in the fall.

Cash Online

Effective September 2015, there will be a new option for paying for school items and events such as agendas, school trips, spirit wear, etc. (A yellow form was sent home last week to sign up.)
