Book Swap – We Want Your FDK to Grade 5 Books
The Earl Kitchener Annual Book Swap (which allows kids to “purchase” books donated by other students for a nominal donation to the library) is happening Tuesday, March 10th this year, but we still need your help in collecting your donations of books! Please look over your shelves for any good condition books that you no longer read or need. We need English and French books (picture books, chapter books, and all non-fiction) for ages 4 – 12. All donations should be left in the main floor photocopy room (marked Conference Room). The Book Swap runs all day for the children. Books 25¢ each.
Absences and Extended March Break Vacations
We would also like to remind you to please keep us informed if your child will be absent due to an early or extended vacation for March Break, illness, an appointment, etc. Our phone lines are open 24-hours a day, and you can leave a detailed voicemail message by calling (905) 528-0223. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated, especially during this busy time of year.

Helmet Delivery Date Delayed
Thank you to everyone who participated in the “Hamilton Helmet Initiative” this year, however, please note that we just received word that the helmet deliveries have been delayed. Helmets will be delivered at the end of April 2015. Steven Star Sports have informed parents of the delay, however, we would like to ensure everyone is aware of the delay.
