Re-Organization at Dundana

As was communicated to the Dundana community earlier this month, Dundana was required to re-organize a number of classes to be in compliance with ministry caps (primary) and class averages (junior).  All families of students impacted by these changes were contacted via letter to advise of these changes.

Since then, our school has experienced a COVID-19 case that required the isolation of some of our students.  Questions have arisen concerning the timing of the re-organization at this time.

Please know that information about the re-organization was shared at the Public Health table when discussing the process to be followed after the positive case.  The school was advised that it was still to proceed with the planned re-organization, with students beginning in new classes (if re-organized) on Monday, October 4.

The health and safety of our students and staff are still a foremost priority. We will continue to follow the guidance of Public Health and adhere to all of our safety protocols at Dundana through the re-organization process.
