Item Pick up and Drop Off at Dundana – June 28 and 29

Students and educators will engage in their final day of synchronous, online learning on Friday, June 25th.

Monday, June 28 and Tuesday, June 29 have been allocated as asynchronous learning by students while staff work in the school on all year end tasks.  These days have also been allocated for schools to arrange for pick up of any student personal items remaining in the building and for the drop off of any school items by families.

Please review this information to follow protocols and procedures for a safe distribution/retrieval of materials.

Drop Off of School Items

It is essential that all school and SEA ipads, chargers, cords and other accessories are signed back into the school by June 29th.  Please return these items during your assigned alphabetical order time OR on Monday June 28 from 11:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. (note, this time slot is for drop off only.  Retrieval of student items is not available for this time period).

Items being returned must have the student’s first and last name clearly and securely labeled on the device (e.g. with masking tape, or a paper attached to the device).

Students may also have other school items in their possession, such as ukeleles or library books.  These can also be returned during your alphabetical time slot or during the Monday morning drop off time.

Some families have inquired if a gift can be dropped off for an educator. Items that are clearly labeled with the educator’s name can also be dropped off during the timelines provided.  Our greeters will organize the items dropped off and make sure they get to the educator for whom they are intended.

Retrieval of Personal Student Items

Some students may have left some personal items here at the school before our move to remote learning mid-April.  If your child has personal items remaining here, educators will be preparing those materials on Monday morning.  They will be available for distribution by alphabetical timeslot June 28th and 29th.  Please note that not all students will have items to be picked up if they brought home all of their personal effects before the April break.  Contact your child’s teacher for confirmation if you aren’t sure whether you need to make a trip for pick up of items or not.

We have still been advised that a lost and found can not be made available, displayed or distributed at this time.

Schedule of Pick Up and Drop Off Times

If you are unavailable to drop off materials on June 28th or 29th, please contact [email protected] to drop off your items between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., June 21 – 25 instead.
