Dundana Updates

As we head into the May long weekend, I hope all of our Dundana families are able to take some time to get away from their screens and enjoy yourselves.

A few updates and reminders for you:

Dundana’s Got Talent

Our talent show is up and running.  Families are welcome to view it here:  Dundana’s Got Talent on Dundana Shares

Thank you to all of our students who participated.

Jump Rope for Heart

Dundana students will participate in Jump Rope for Heart activities the week of May 25th in their PE classes.  If your child needs a skipping rope, a few are still available on the fence in front of the school.  Please help yourself.  We have raised over $2000 already for Heart and Stroke research.  Great job!

Choices for the 2021-2022 School Year

Next year’s process for remote vs in person learning is different than we experienced this year.  If you need more information about the process of choosing remote learning for your child, please see the board updates here:  Elementary Remote Learning

Please note that if you would like your child to be in remote learning for the 2021-2022 school year, your decision must be logged in the parent portal or with the school by email ([email protected]) by June 1st.  If you wish your child to be scheduled for in person learning for next year, no form or notification needs to be provided.

A reminder that if your child is attending Dundana next year and you would like to recommend a placement with another student in their grade, please email [email protected] by May 31.  For more details on this process, please see the May newsletter, here:
