HWDSB will be observing Day of Orange to honour the lives and survivors of Canada’s Indian Residential Schools.
As you may know, the HWDSB is taking steps to improving relations with indigenous members of our community. To support this goal, schools are asked to consider supporting recognition of the injustices of the Residential school legacy by wearing orange on Friday, Sept. 29.
