School Council
All parents/guardians of students who attend Cecil B. Stirling school are welcome and encouraged to attend School Council meetings.
The Ministry of Education requires all Ontario schools to have School Councils. The role of the School Council is to advise the principal and staff of recommendations for the School Improvement Plan and further the effective environment for students.
We will hold our first School Council meeting for this school year on Wednesday, October 2nd at 6:30 p.m. in the library at the school. During the meeting, a School Council Executive consisting of Chair, Co-Chair, Treasurer and Secretary will be determined. The school community will be notified of the new School Council. Individuals who wish to be voting members of council must attend the first meeting.
Any parent/guardian is welcome and encouraged to attend any meeting this year.
