November is a busy month at C.B. Stirling.   Please see school updates below:

Thanks to the many students and staff who worked together to run a meaningful Remembrance Day Assembly on Friday.  It was great to have our own band take part.

Thanks to Ms. Valla, Mr. Burgsma, Mr. Gaudet and Mr. Guiney for coaching our four volleyball teams this fall.  Each of our teams has represented our school well.  Best of luck to all teams as they enter the playoffs later this month.

This Friday will be our first Pizza day of the year.  Domino’s Pizza will be our pizza supplier this year.  Money is due on Tuesday of each week in order to get pizza on Friday.  We are encouraging families to pay on School Cash Online, however, we will accept money on Tuesday’s each week.

Tuesday November 29 will be our photo retake day.  More information will be sent home a few days beforehand.

Friday November 25 is a P.A. Day.  There is no school for students.

Our December school council meeting will take place on Monday December 5.  We will be going on a field trip to Ancaster High.  Our meeting will take place at the high school from 6:00-6:30 and then we will attend a presentation by Paul Davis on Social Networking Safety.  All are welcome to attend.  Please reach out to Shannon Lavallee, school council chair, if you plan to attend – [email protected]

Tomorrow will be the first meeting of our Stinger Student Council.  All students in Grade 6-8 are welcome to join the council.  The group will work together to provide student voice to activities and initiatives at C.B. Stirling.  Thanks to Ms. McKenna and Mme. Reid for leading this.
