First Day Message

Hello Stinger Parents and Guardians, 

It was great to see all the excitement today as students returned to school. It was a fabulous first day of community building and learning about new classrooms, friends and teachers. We look forward to our Kindergarten students joining us tomorrow.  

As we enter a new school year there are several forms, we need to have completed. These forms are all accessible on the Parent Portal.  

• Nutrition Breaks (this form indicates if you’d like your child to stay at school or go home for Break 2) 
• Permissions/Agreements (these forms are for media consent) 
• Emergency Closure Information 

Please complete all of these forms by Friday September 9. If you are having trouble accessing the parent portal, give the school office a call and we can assist you. 

Attached to this email is our school Cell Phone Procedure and Agreement. A paper copy of this form will be sent home with all students in Grade 4-8.  

A few upcoming dates to be aware of: 

• September 23 – Terry Fox Run (more details to come) 
• October 11 – School Photo Day 
• October 24 – PA DAY 

Our school office is a very busy place. We ask that you make end of day plans with your child in the morning whenever possible. Please work hard to send all necessary items to school with your child in the morning.
