Rare Total Solar Eclipse

HWDSB in partnership with McMaster University will be providing solar eclipse viewers for all HWDSB staff and students. Solar eclipse viewers must meet the international standard ISO 12312-2 for safe viewing. Looking directly at the Sun with the naked eye or through any device or filter other than ISO 12312-2 certified eclipse glasses may cause permanent damage and even blindness. Staff and students are reminded to make sure that the glasses are not damaged or scratched before use.
