Eco Team

The Eco Team has started back up in the new year and our first project is raising awareness for The World Wildlife Foundation’s Sweater Day initiative. On February 6th, 2025, Bellmoore students are encouraged to “turn down the heat (1-2 degrees at home) and turn up in a sweater at school.”  An announcement campaign and classroom visits for K-1 will share facts about energy conservation, promote Sweater Day and raise awareness for ways we can work together as a community. 

The Eco Team is also celebrating a big accomplishment-Bellmoore’s pop tab collection played a role in adding funds towards helping a young girl in London, Ontario receive a new wheelchair! 

A huge thank you to our amazing Bellmoore community for helping us reach this goal!

Family Math Night that will be promoted as STEM Night: Math Family Fun

*Save the date for an exciting open house on March 6th where families are invited to come to Bellmoore for some family math fun!

Objectives:

-Engage our Bellmoore families in fun and educational math activities.

-Promote a positive attitude towards math.

-Encourage family collaboration and learning.
