A Message from Home and School’s Fun Fair Committee

Fun Fair is just around the corner and we are ramping up the planning!

If you’ve never attended a fun fair before you have lots of fun to look forward to! Awesome Games, Silent Auction with themed baskets, Toonie Bags, BBQ cooked by The Optimists,  Face Painting, Baked Goods, Music, Kids Penny Sale, Checking out a Fire Truck, Free Art Table, Cotton Candy, Popcorn & Snow Cones, Music and more.

Our next goal is building and creating our classroom Silent Auction Baskets. Each classroom has been given a theme and asked to donate items if you are able to, towards that basket which will be auctioned off at the Fun Fair. Be creative or do a quick search on Google or Amazon for ideas for your classroom theme. Remember all money raised will be used to replace the Smart Boards with new projectors as they reach their end-of-life.
Attached is the parent letter explaining the fundraiser and the classroom themes. I’ve also attached a separate PDF with ideas for each classroom themed basket. Basket items will be collected in the classrooms during the week of April 22-26.

Thank you to our Silent Auction Coordinators Jodie Tattoni and Yarina Banerjee for all their hard work coordinating the silent auction!

P.S – We are still in need of adult and High School volunteers – We can’t do this night without you!
