Spring Food Drive for the Flamborough Food Bank

Balaclava School will be holding a food drive in support of the Flamborough Food Bank in March.

Students, staff and families can bring in non-perishable food items between Monday March 18th until Wednesday March 27th. Collection boxes will be set up in classrooms and in the office.

The Flamborough Food bank is currently in desperate need for all items. These are the items they list as being most in need:

-canned pasta

-1 L Tetra juice

-cereal

-canned meat

-pasta sauce

-ready to serve soup

-canned tomatoes

They have been very appreciative of our school community’s efforts in the past and are very much looking forward to receiving any new items we can provide.
