Lockdown Drill at Balaclava

Next week, Balaclava School will be engaged in a Lockdown Drill. This is one of the required drills as part of the  Secure Schools Protocol. Information about these drills and this procedure can be found here:  https://www.hwdsb.on.ca/secondary/supports/secure-schools/

Our first lockdown drill of the year is planned for Tuesday March 5 at 10:00 a.m. During the drill, no entry or exit will be permitted from the school. The drill is expected to take approximately 15 minutes. While schools are permitted to have support from Hamilton Police during lockdown drills, no police presence is expected for this particular drill.
