Hello Balaclava Families,

My name is Eddie Grattan and I am the temporary Principal at Balaclava. It is a pleasure being back at the school after being Vice-Principal here seventeen years ago.

As the new school year begins I hope you are all excited about what lies ahead. In some cases, however, I imagine there may be some anxiety about a new start. If so, please be assured that we will do everything we can to ensure the transition is as smooth as possible.

As you are aware, tomorrow is a PD Day so students will start school on Wednesday. I look forward to seeing the students then.
