Some Final Goodbyes

The classrooms and lockers are all empty. We enjoyed the Balaclava tradition of a water fight at bus dismissal yesterday. It is time for students, families and staff to enjoy the start of a well-deserved break this summer.

We have a few additional farewells to add to the list from the June newsletter. Ms. Harris has moved on to another position in the board and we wish her well!

Some of our staff members are still to be hired over the summer. A full list of the 2023-2024 staff will be posted at the beginning of September.

As well, today is my (Mrs. Keery Bishop) last day supporting Balaclava School. A new administrator will be named at a later date for the start of September. Although I have only been here a short time, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here at Balaclava. Thank you for welcoming me and being such a wonderful community.
