December 1st Update

Wow – It’s December!

We know this is time traditionally we look for ways to show care and support of others, particularly those who may be struggling. This year has proven to be very challenging for many and perhaps for some, in unexpected ways. We are anticipating our newly formed Student Council will coordinate a virtual food drive fundraising initiative this month. All donations will be made directly to Flamborough Food Bank online. More details to follow.

School Council meets today, December 1st at 6:30 p.m., on MS Teams. If you are a parent/caregiver of a Balaclava student and would like to join, please email [email protected] so an invite can be forwarded to you.

French Immersion registration for Grade 1 began November 30th. All online applications must be submitted by January 24th 2021. Information was shared directly with our Year 2 Kdgn families earlier this month. Please visit the Board website for further details if needed.

We are pleased to be able to share that school photos can resume with safety protocols in place. These will be individual photos only and the date for these will be completed is February 2nd 2021. In addition, Graduation photos will be completed on February 3rd and 4th 2021.
