Staggered Entry – Group A (Last name alpha A to K)

September 14, 2020

Welcome Back!

We are so excited to welcome back our students and their families to Greenleaf.  But, of course, some things are going to look a bit different! Please take the time to review our new procedures with your child before they return.  Thank you in advance for your support as together we start this new school year!

Morning entrance to school:

When students arrive at school, they are to proceed directly to their designated class location (marked) and line up.

Students/families must physically distance (2m) from other families/staff while on school property.

Please find below the gathering locations for each age group:

·         If your child is in K1, K2, or K4, please drop them off at the main K pod area (where the K play structure is located).

·         If your child is in K3 or K5, please drop them off at the K area on the other side of the school (closer to the high school, beside the side parking lot).

·         If your child is in Grade 1-4, please have them go to the blacktop at the back of the school and find their marked class cohort location.  After dropping your child off, please exit in a timely manner on the delineated path to reduce congestion.

·         If your child is in Grade 5-8 (including Grade 4 students in a 4/5 class), please have them go to the side parking lot (between Greenleaf and the high school), which is closed until further notice to support school entry/exit plan, and find their marked class cohort location.

Afternoon departure from school:

At the end of the day, students in K – Gr. 3 will be dismissed directly to parents/guardians from their outdoor designated class location.

One parent/guardian per student is permitted on the school yard to pick up.

Students in Grades 4-8 will be dismissed at 3:25pm from their outdoor designated class location. They do not need to be met by a parent/guardian, unless the family communicates this to the classroom teacher.

Upon dismissal, students must leave school property in a timely fashion.
