Cross Country Oct 9 Information

Our cross country meet will be tomorrow – Oct 9 at Christie Conservation Area.   Please see below for maps of the run.  If there is an inclement weather cancellation, a post will be made by 7:30  am tomorrow on our school website. 

Please have your child in the front foyer of the school by 8:45 am on October 9. The bus will be leaving the school promptly at 9:00 am. The bus will not wait for late students as we cannot be late for the start of the first race.

Students will be required to wear Allan A. Greenleaf school shirts so that they can be easily identified. If your child does not have a school shirt, we will provide them with one to wear for the race. Borrowing from a friend/neighbour is also a good idea. Please ensure the shirts are returned. Greenleaf Spirit Wear is currently on sale and can be purchased for your child to wear in the future (for other athletic events like Track and field and/or Spirit Days).

Please send your students well-prepared the day of the meet. They will need a Greenleaf shirt, hat, sunscreen, water, lunch, snacks, running shoes, a jacket, an umbrella and a change of socks if it is wet/raining.
