Parent Letter re: Hold and Secure

Dear Parents/Guardians,

This letter is to inform you that W.H. Ballard Elementary School entered a Hold and Secure response today. Hold and Secure requires the building to be secured and all persons to remain in the school due to an ongoing, non-school related situation outside. The issue today involved a person in crisis.

Police were notified and we placed Ballard into a Hold and Secure until the police arrived and advised us to lift the Hold and Secure.
