Kind deeds for Cancer Patients

For several years, Ms. Windsor’s students have given a gigantic piece of their heart by making quilts for the Juravinski Cancer Clinic for Christmas. In the past, these quilts have been created by corking, or weaving or knitting; this year they were woven. With the help of Ms. Windsor’s volunteer, Ms. Walpac, the individual squares are sewn together to create blankets that are covered with love. Here is the final product for this year. Mr. Persaud’s class decided to join in the fun this year and accompany the quilts with cards that carried kind and positive messages. What a great way to send love and positive thoughts to those in need. Way to go POW!
