We are pleased to announce the next step in our Positive School Climate renewal.  Last year we began with a new Student of the Month routine that had winners joining us for a lunch called Appetite and Applause.  This year, we expand to include class wide incentives.  Each class will work towards a different goal as set by students and teacher.  Once the goal is reached, their class is added to our chart.  As levels are reached rewards are given.  Free pizza slices for the school, freezies, extra recesses, dance parties, movie day are all incentives that can be earned.

We are encouraging our students to think about the values of Mental Wellness, Kindness, Respect, Physical Wellness, Perseverance, and Integrity.  Classroom and Student of the Month goals will tie into one or more of these aspects.

Thanks to the Positive School Climate Committee for all their hard work in created and managing our program.  Stay tuned for a student made video that explains this program from a kid perspective.
