Courtesy Transportation 2017-18

Hi all,

We will start accepting courtesy transportation requests on Monday Aug 28.  The form is attached to this post.  Some reminders. If you were receiving courtesy transportation last year it does not mean you can ride this year automatically, you must reapply.  It is not first come first serve. Forms will be available in the office through out the year.  Requests for startup have to be in by Sept 20th.  Courtesy Transportation will start the following the week.  We have one bus for our FDK students who live more than 1 km away.  All other students must live more than 1.6 km away to qualify.  With our boundaries, there is only a tiny part that would be outside this distance.  We use this calculator to calculate distance.    Courtesy is granted using filters such as, siblings already on the bus, younger students vs older students, distance.  Remember it is the parents responsibility to ensure that kids get to and from school.   All policies pertaining to school transportation can be found here.  The courtesy transportation form can be found here.  Any questions can be directed to the school during office hours.
