Class Assignments for 2017/2018

A reminder to please check your child’s back pack for his/her report card today.  You should also find indication of which class your child will be in next year.  Please note the following:

• teaching staff worked very hard to build classes that are balanced and will best support students.
• requests for specific teachers will not be accepted.
• requests for switches to other classes will not be considered.
• please consider this your child’s September class placement.  If we need to re-organize classes for October, your child may be moved to another class and/or with another teacher
• staffing changes can occur throughout the summer and the school year for a variety of reasons.  Your child’s teacher may change over the course of the year.
• many of our classes are combined grade classes, as is true across the board and province.  Please see the following for more information about combined grade classes

Thank you for your understanding.  We understand how changing to a new class, with a new group of students and a new teacher, can be stressful for children and their families.  Our staff will work diligently in September and throughout the school year to build community amongst their students and foster relationships to support your child.
