Orienteering Trip

Orienteering is an activity that involves using a map and compass to navigate from point to point while competing with peers. This is an annual HWDSB event held at Christie Lake Conservation Area and open to students in all grades. The trip will take place on May 8th and runs rain or shine. The bus will leave Westview at 9:30 AM and return to the school at approximately 2:00 PM.
The cost of this trip, to cover the buses, is $10.00 per student and is available in SchoolCash Online. This is the preferred method of payment, however cash can be accepted at the school if you are unable to pay online. Trip forms will be sent home the week of April 22nd. Both payment, and the trip form must be received to attend.
Students are advised to dress for the weather and wear appropriate foot wear for the activity and the weather conditions. Students should also bring a lunch/snacks and water bottle.
