Great Job!
Students in Class 8A and 7/8 have recently been engaging in historical inquiry projects. Each grade is focusing on their perspective curriculum topics with the 8’s learning about pre-confederation colonies while the grade 7’s are working on varying topics related to New France. Both grades are provided the opportunity to demonstrate their learning in unique ways through student choice. Examples of their creativity is evident in their student generated board games, guided tours to the past via”time machines” as well as historical raps just to name a few. Class 7/8 also participated in researching historical persons from the past and presented their findings through dramatic monologues. It has been a pleasure watching the creativity flourish!
