Checkers Tournament Results

Westview students were among more than 800 players competing in the world’s largest checkers tournament yesterday.  Our team of grade 6 and grade 7 students placed 3rd overall in their bracket, am impressive accomplishment.  On behalf of the team, Mr. Deans would like to thank Mrs. Read for her hours of time spent to ensure the team was prepared, registered and transportation was provided.  Thanks also to Ms. Dunn for supporting the team at the meet.  Our congratulations to the team on their results – Great job!
