Brief evacuation for fire

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I am writing to inform you that a fire on our roof before school today led us to immediately evacuate the school. It was caused by work being done on our roof.

The fire department was notified immediately and quickly arrived on scene. The fire department inspected the building and cleared us to re-enter the school just after 9 a.m. All students were safe during the evacuation.

We wish to thank the Hamilton Fire Department for their response as well as staff and students for following our safety protocols during this situation.
