OSSLT on May 10th

Attention all Wildcat families. Westmount Secondary School will be writing the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test May 10 beginning at 8:40 a.m. The test is a graduation requirement for all students. The requirement has been waived for grade 12s graduating this year but it has been reinstated for next school year and beyond. Therefore all grade 10s and selected grade 11s and 12s will write the OSSLT. To do the test, all students will need their school issued ipad and it must be fully charged. The test will not run on personal ipads or laptops. Students may wish to use earbuds. If so, please bring them along. If students finish early, they will be asked to do some silent work in the class. Therefore we encourage students to bring a book to read. The test may only be conducted in-person at the school. All students with full e-timetables are encouraged to write the test tomorrow and we have allocated space in the school for those students to write the test. Thank you and we’ll see you tomorrow!
