Our Balanced Day schedule is the framework for our school day. A Balanced Day provides increasing time available for instruction, by decreasing transition time for students, and by increasing student attention because of two nutrition breaks instead of the traditional single break. Teacher advantages include more flexibility for scheduling, and increased opportunities to meet and plan with other teachers. Playground supervision begins at 8:35 am and ends at 3:25 pm. No students should be arriving at the school without an adult until 8:35 am.
A staff member will be at the back door until 9:00 a.m. to support late arrivals. After 9:00 a.m. students will need to go to the front and check in with the office
Any students not picked up by 3:25 pm will be brought to the office to wait for their grown up to arrive.
