Earlier this year, the Provincial government announced the closure of all schools due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, Grade 7 school vaccine clinics scheduled to occur between April and June 2020 were cancelled by Hamilton Public Health Services.
Hamilton Public Health is now providing catch-up vaccine clinics at select HWDSB and HWCDSB high schools as well as some community locations for current Grade 7 and Grade 8 students (born in 2007 and 2008) who missed their Hepatitis B, HPV, and Meningococcal ACYW-135 vaccines in Grade 7 to catch-up on their vaccines.
These catch-up clinics will provide students the opportunity to receive all three missed vaccines at one time bringing their vaccine records up to date.
Parents and caregivers should consult the charts below for the specific date and location for their student to receive their vaccines. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, students can only attend the clinic location associated with their feeder school. You should receive communication from your school about these clinics.
