Grade 8 Students & Families Save the Date!

Our Commencement will occur on June 22, 2023.  Students and families will celebrate student certificates during our commencement ceremony early in the evening at SWL.  Students will then continue to have time to enjoy more celebrations with peers at SWL following the ceremony. Further details will be shared in the upcoming month.

Arrival and Dismissal

AM/PM Parking Lot – Front of School

Thank you for your ongoing support to help ensure entry and dismissal can run safely for students and families.  We have observed less vehicle congestion in our front driveway area this week and hope we see this continue to decrease, especially on days where the weather permits enjoyable walking.

We understand families have many different ways they need to transport their children to school.  When able, please walk with your child rather than drive to the school area.  We have several buses that need to access our front driveway in both entry and dismissal times.  The roads around the school become quite congested as well when more families are choosing to drive.

If you are unable to walk your child on a specific day and need to access the school front driveway, please make sure to follow the flow of traffic through our front driveway.  Please do not park in areas where signs have shared it is a NO PARKING ZONE.  Bylaw officers may visit the school to support traffic safety as well.

Students also should not be crossing through our parking lot unless they are being escorted by a parent/guardian.

Thank you for your support here.
