Snuggle Up and Read!

On Thursday, January 27, staff and students are invited to wear their comfy, cozy clothes as we take time to Snuggle Up and Read!  Feel free to send your child’s favourite book to enjoy!

Families can also participate in this event at home.  Choose a time in your day where you can read to/with your child. When reading to your child, ask questions like “What do you think this book about?”, “What do you think will happen next?”

Family Literacy Day takes place every January to raise awareness about the importance of reading and engaging in other literacy-related activities as a family. What will you be reading to celebrate the occasion?
