Free Tree Giveaway

Exciting opportunity for Ward 5 residents!  You can register to receive a free tree for your property, courtesy of a giveaway by the City of Hamilton.

Four native Ontario tree species are available and can be planted in your yard, supporting local biodiversity and expanding Hamilton’s green urban infrastructure. These trees also reduce the amount of rainwater that enters storm sewers and combat flooding. Registration for the free tree can be found on the City of Hamilton website here and closes in two days (on Wednesday, May 12th, 2021).
