Welcome Back Message

Welcome back, families!  While this is an unusual return to school, with learning being online, we are excited for the start of 2021.  Staff have been busy over the holidays preparing for online instruction.  We have also deployed almost 100 devices to families who indicated they needed a device for their child to participate in the online learning.

The Ministry of Education has outlined expectations for online learning, and we are expecting all students to take part in online learning.  We will continue to take attendance twice daily, as we normally would.  So please ensure your child joins the Class Meetings (on MS Teams or the Hub) on time.  Our School Messenger will continue to make call outs.  If your child is going to be away (not participate in online learning due to illness/appointment), please notify the teacher/call the school, or update School Messenger to avoid attendance phone calls.

The office staff are at the school daily during regular office hours.  If you have any questions, please call the office and we will try to support.

We are hopeful that in-person learning resumes on January 11th, as indicated by the Minister of Education.  However, we ask that you monitor the news and accept any School Messenger calls from the Board or the school to stay informed should the returne to in-person learning be pushed back.
