Kidney Clothes Donation Program

Dear Shannen Koostachin Community,

It’s time to clean out your closets!!

In an effort to encourage some Spring cleaning and the act of giving during Ramadan, our school has partnered with The Kidney Clothes Donation Program to raise money for our school and support an important cause.

We will be holding a clothing drive to raise funds for the Grade 8 Graduation and the Kidney Foundation. This fundraising event will turn gently-used clothing and other cloth based items into money for our school and for kidney research and services for those living with kidney disease.

Your child will be coming home with a plastic bag for your family to fill and return to school. Feel free to also use additional plastic bags/garbage bags from home as well! All donated items must be in good, clean, sellable condition. The following items can be donated:

-Clothing

-Jewelry

-Handbags

-Shoes

-Linens

-Outerwear

-Draperies/Curtains

-Fabric

-Yarn

-Sheets

-Blankets

-Sleeping Bags

We will be collecting donations until April 11^th. Please ask your family and friends to consider donating their gently used clothes to our school as well!
