Brief evacuation due to gas leak

Dear Families,

This is a letter to let you know that we briefly evacuated our school today. Staff pulled the alarm after smelling an unusual odour.

Hamilton Fire Department responded to the alarm. Students and staff were outside for about 15 minutes. All students and staff were safe.

Enbridge was called to check the school, found a gas leak and made a repair.

We are proud of our students for their behaviour during the incident.
