Gift Drive – Thank you, Rousseau families!

Thanks to our Rousseau Community for the thoughtful donations for the three families at our “sister school”! Since we weren’t able to support families in need last year, these donations were even more important. We also thank all the families that donated gift cards this year.

When student council went around the school to collect presents for the families, we were emotionally in shock to see all the wonderful donations! A huge thanks to all of families who donated this year!

We have learned this year that many children in Ontario come to school with not being able to have a breakfast. Those children may also not be able to have any lunch or dinner, so it is a huge deal how many grocery gift cards some classes donated to those in need!

When Student Council collected the gifts for those three families, we also saw there were clothes, coats. hats, and mittens, etc. for warmth and protection during this cold winter season.
