Ancaster and New Beverly Information Nights

As part of the Ancaster Accommodation Review, the Board of Trustees approved the closure of CH Bray, Fessenden, Queen’s Rangers and Rousseau, pending Ministry of Education funding for two new JK-8 elementary schools on the CH Bray and Rousseau sites, as well as an addition at Ancaster Senior. As a result of the Ancaster Accommodation decision, HWDSB has applied for and received funding for an addition at Ancaster Senior and a new elementary school on the CH Bray site.

A letter was sent to families on November 16, outlining how these builds will affect students and families. To further explain the upcoming changes in detail, the following Information Nights will be held for School Transitions:

• Dec. 10, 6:30 p.m.:  Ancaster Sr/Fessenden new school (hosted at Ancaster Sr)
• Dec. 12, 6:30 p.m.: C.H. Bray/Queens Rangers new school (hosted at Queens Rangers)
• Dec. 13, 6:30 p.m.: Dr. Seaton/Beverly Central/Queens Rangers new school (hosted at Dr. Seaton)
